Another one of us hits the big 30

It is that time again as yet another one of us hit’s the big thirty. This time it was Louise’s turn to celebrate and maybe cry a little in private as her twenties were left behind her. To mark the occasion we all gathered in a local pub where Louise’s sister Sarah works. Maz and I stopped the night at Louise’s house and then next day eat pizza and watched the F1 as Jenson Button romped home to victory. As it has become the norm I had with me my trusted video camera to capture it all. Here then are the highlights of the day

For Maz and me the day started as a bit of a rush. The people who Maz rents her house from were coming over to inspect it and so I ran off back home while she dashed around cleaning up a bit. As it turned out they never showed up and so we headed off to Louise’s. After hooking up with Tom and Louise and spreading the birthday joy we all headed down to the local pub. We arrived just in time as Chris turned up with the BBQ he borrowed from Hayley.

A few hours and a few beers later and Tom was doing the duty on the BBQ churning out an endless stream of burgers. There was a great turn out in the end, there was Maz and I of course plus Tom, Louise, Hayley (and her magic t-shirt), Mark, Chris, Lisa, Paul and even a late arriving Dave. It was great to see everyone and catch up. Kind of makes you release how much you miss them all.

To top it all off a local band that we follow called OCD were playing that night too which rounded off the evening in perfect fashion. I had a great, if somewhat expensive, time. Here for your viewing pleasure are the video highlights of the day. Enjoy.
